14 Aug 2016 Another act that we fell for at last year's Tønder Festival was Ten Strings And A Goat Skin from Prince Edward Island in the Canadian Maritimes. Ever since we have been working to make arrangements for a tour of Denmark with them and now we have finally succeeded! The band will play their music on Danish soil in November next year.

11 Aug 2016 With two BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards to their name and performances at the biggest English folk festivals Greg Russell & Ciaran Algar have very quickly made their breakthrough onto the English folk scene. And after their performance at Tønder Festival last year there was no doubt - we had to get them to Denmark! Their first Danish tour is scheduled for September 2017.

22 May 2016 Dallahan have just launched a music video from their latest album, Matter of Time, which was released in Aprl. The video features the song Logan and contains shots from the band's concert at this year's Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow.

10 Feb 2016 Another exciting name has been added to Yellow House Booking's list of young, talented bands - the Irish band The Jeremiahs. Fronted by the excellent singer Joe Gibney they are one of the most uplifting bands to have come out of the Dublin folk scene in recent years. A tour of Denmark is pencilled in for February 2017.

23 Jan 2016 Dallahan's long awaited second album Matter of Time is officially released on April 11th this year, but Danish concert audiences can get their hands on the album if February, when the band tours Denmark. They will be playing all over the country before finishing off at Strib Vinterfestival on Saturday February 13th.

10 Jan 2016 In autumn 2016 and spring 2017 three new names are on our tour roster: Irish world class guitarist John Doyle (Sep 2016), Scottish song tradition champions Malinky (Mar 2017) and English singer-songwriter Jez Lowe (Apr 2017). All three are well-established first class names that we look forward to presenting to Danish audiences and venues. A common trait for them is that they either have not been on tour in Denmark previously, or it has been a while since the last time - and of course, they have all performed at Tønder Festival at some point. New Dallahan album imminent - Matter of Time

3 Jan 2016 Dallahan - who just won a LiveIreland award for the track The Tartare Frigate from their first album, When the Day is on the Turn, are on their way with a follow-up. The new album is scheduled for relase in April and features guest appearances from e.g. Jarlath Henderson. Until January 26 you can support the release financially via Indiegogo.

23 Oct 2014 In May Mike Vass made a journey in a sailing boat in the wake of Scottish author Neil Gunn, who in 1937 sold all his possessions, bought a boat and sailed up along the islands off the west coast of Scotland. The resultat of Neil Gunn's journey was the book "Off in a Boat", and after having read it Mike Vass decided to go on a similar voyage and see if it would inspire him to write some music. The end product was an exciting album just released on Unroofed Records.

Ray Cooper to leave Oysterband

Wants to pursue solo career full time after 24 years in the band

12 Nov 2012 Ray Cooper has just announced his decision to leave Oysterband at the end of February 2013 to pursue a solo career as singer and songwriter. His last tours with Oysterband will be the imminent tour of Denmark and a UK tour with June Tabor & Oysterband in February.
